Levelling: first you will want Rage, after it Tech armor. After thease 2 are evolved, you are unstoppable. (if your team mates know how to revive)

Weapons:
Use anything you prefer, weight is not an issue! As you dont use any powers that uses CD (Cool Down) anyway.
BUT!!! Use as other weapon any shotgun with Shotgun Blade Attachement OR any heavy Pistol with Pistol Melee Stunner! This build focuses on melee damage as primare source of dealing damage, so best that you take your primary weapon based what is more evolved, Shotgun Blade Attachement or Pistol Melee Stunner.
I use this build to test any new weapons mainly =D Now I have M-300 Claymore with Shotgun Blade Attacement + Shotgun High Caliber Barrel and M-99 Saber Assault rifle with Assault Rifle Extended Ballel + Assault Rifle Piercing Mod. (other alternative is M-98 Widow).

Strategy:
Tank and melee. Your primeary focus is on melee. Try to keep frenzy up as much as possible, as it will make your life so much easyer (more damage and reduce damage you take). to get into frenzy state, you need to kill 2 enemyes within 30sec (Rage: Pure Rage (6)). Remeber that killing with heavy melee you get a really great bonus for 30sec (Rage: Martial Artist (5) 75% more melee damage). Melee everything, even atlass! Evade only charging big reaper thinggy and after evade, melee it hard! But be sure when engaging in melee with big high tier opponents that your frenzy is on.

Keep your tech armor on always, dont detonate it, just keep it on for survivability.
Use granades in crowds, just remeber to replenish them!

As a Krogan and a Sentinel, you are pretty good holding grond for hacking etc, if hacking, you might need a gun for taking out enemyes from distance (hence the second weapon).

Pros:
-Really high Melee damage
-No need to worry from the weight of any weapon
-if have to shoot, your guns still do quite a lot of damage
-Tanking ability, can take punishment
-Ease of play
-Forgiving, if you do a mistake, you still survive
-After levelling Rage and Tech Armor you are already great
-easy to be high in player rankings, ´couse of the damage
-some extra exp from 15melee kills (that comes really easy)

Cons:
-Granades are fastly used
-Replenishing Granades
-Sometimes missed Heavy Melee can get you to a bad spot
-Not that fun to play
-Granade rely on CC
-Frenzy dropping off useally between wawes of enemy

Weapons:
Primary: A big, heavy shotgun. I like to stick to my Krogan roots and carry the Claymore. Put a Blade Attachment on it.

Secondary: A big, heavy sniper. I like the Widow.

Strategy:
Obviously your recharge speed is going to suffer horribly with this weapon loadout, but that’s why you ignore cooldown powers completely (just Incinerate for this class). The spec emphasizes durability, and with 1600 shields, 1200 health, and 40% damage reduction (70% while raging) this is the most durable build in the game. It also emphasizes increased weapon damage giving your heavy hitting weapons a significant boost. With a sniper and a shotgun you’re deadly at any range, but the build is most fun when you’re smacking things around. Take the time to carefully build yourself into a rage, picking off lone, weaker enemies. Husks are especially great for this. Once you’re in Rage mode, you can take a ridiculous amount of punishment. I haven’t tried it on Gold yet, but on Silver, you can easily charge a pack of Geth that includes 3 Pyros and multiple Troopers and come out with your shield intact. You can charge a turret, eat missiles, one-shot Centurions, Marauders, etc. with a heavy melee. The toughest part is recognizing when you’re finally outmatched and should beat a quick retreat and start thinning the ranks with your Widow. Always keep in mind that you can wreak havok at any range, don’t be too eager to rush into melee.

2. This is, quite simply, the most durable build in the game. The only difficulty comes in mastering your chosen weapons and learning to recognize when you need to retreat. It’s very easy to get carried away!

Weapons:
Primary: Falcon Assault Rifle to stagger enemies as you approach to melee (also good for groups you can’t approach at all) with clip size attachment. Alternatively, you can use the spike thrower or Geth plasma shotgun instead of the Falcon AR.

Secondary: Backup Pistol, with melee attachment

 Strategy:
Basically, most of the enemies with Armor probably shouldn’t be melee’d (Banshees, Atlas, Brute, Turrets, Primes, Pyros…okay, all enemies with Armor probably shouldn’t be melee’d), so keep your distance and use incinerate on their armor when it comes up.

Avoid running into groups of more than two enemies. Use an AR shot + Heavy Melee combo to kill stragglers or any enemy that gets too close.
